Luxury Shepherd's Hut In The Heart Of North Wales

The shepherd’s hut has truly fabulous views looking over the hills towards the Carneddau mountains. Boasting peaceful walks on our own farmland with panoramic views and peaceful country lanes, it is just a gentle stroll from a woodland stream.

From here you have easy access to many local towns and attractions such as Llandudno, Conwy, Betws Y Coed, Rhos-on-Sea, Surf Snowdonia, Bodnant Garden, Zip World, the lakes and all of the North Wales mountains, not to mention castles galore. There is so much to do nearby, including wild swimming and paddle-boarding, walking, cycling and plenty of action and adventure.

Sunsets and Stars shepherd’s hut is the ideal base for exploring North Wales. It is also the perfect location if what you really want is peace and relaxation. Whether you are sitting by the fire in your own private paddock, or snuggled up inside watching through the window, the sunsets here are magnificent. Facilities

The hut includes a bathroom with a full-size shower, sink and toilet. Quality towels and bath robes are also provided. The kitchen area has a Bosch oven/microwave and hob, a Belfast sink, cutlery, toaster, pans, crockery and glassware. It also has a small fridge and is stocked with the essentials. There is a wardrobe area with room for folded and hanging clothes and several drawers which have blankets and sheepskins for sitting outside on the cooler nights. The table and seating area convert easily into an extremely comfortable pull-down double bed which has Egyptian cotton bedding.

The hut is set in its own paddock with parking just a few steps away. There is a table and seating area, a gas BBQ and a chimenea. During the warmer months there are also sun loungers.

Check in time is 4pm till 9pm

Check out time is 10am

Earlier and later times may be available by prior arrangement.

Location

We are located in a rural landscape but are only an 8 minute drive from the A55 which is the main route in and out of North Wales. From here it is easy to travel to all of the local attractions and beauty spots.

This is the ideal base for paddle boarding, sea kayaking, surfing, walking, mountain biking, climbing and exploring all that North Wales has to offer.

A car is recommended unless you are planning on staying and relaxing here. Parking is onsite and just a few steps from the shepherd’s hut itself. Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Junction train stations are just a short drive away and pickup from these can be facilitated  by prior arrangement.
